Dame Dame Emma Thompson has been announced as ambassador for the Children's Future Food Inquiry, supporting the charity's mission to combat child food poverty in the UK.

The Beauty and the Beast star plans to 'call attention to holiday hunger', and the charity's Executive Director, Anna Taylor, said 'We’re very grateful for her support. Dame Emma will be a hugely powerful voice for the inquiry, and we hope her involvement will help make our calls for action on children's food poverty impossible to ignore'.
